Not possible. The Rx18 does not put out a signal that a servo would understand.

servos are stepper units with feedback to control position. HOWEVER, you could possible take a servo apart, eliminate the pot unit, and run the motor and gearing off the HL left stick motor control (using output of 8 wire harness). voltage speed issues...etc...

BUT, then you will also have to create an arm mechanism whcih can do a full circle and not bind up or build some type of stop mechanism/micro switch power control unit.

Easier to have the mechanism do a full circle and the barrel will pan back and forth without directional control.

It may be easier to build a small mechanism. Tamiya offers many small motor gear packages with output arms etc..

you will undoubtedly find something here:

OR you may be able to run a 4 channel receiver and 2 servos instead of useing the std heng long elevation unit and turret rotation but keep the heng long RX18 for sound and other items

like this (this is in a sherman but same idea)

The only way to interface a hobby grade receiver to the Rx-18 is via the DBCRC2 module, available here in kit form http://darkith.dyndns.org/~darkith/html/dbc.shtml" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , or here ready assembled http://www.rctankwars.com/Products.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
