Hi Guys

Is there a way of making my Kv sound better?

It has a RX18 board in but im not sure which 1

The tank starts fine but it reduces to a clatter when i move the right stick

What im after is a sound board that will make the engine rev a bit more when the tank is moving

there are several options but all are serious amounts of money and i dont think many if any will be h/long compatible

first is to remove all the h/long electronics and fit a DMD/MFU from a tamiya KV1 big money if you can find the units

next is a benendini sound system the large scale guys use these and are apparently around the £100 mark but im guessing you cant interface them with an rx18 and youd need a DMD unit for drive and other functions(i may be wrong here) plus a decent recording of an actual KV1 8O

elmod has its own sounds but expensive compared to rx18 and not that user friendly

you can try different speakers small speakers can be quite cheap it may improve the sound by making it bassier and less scratchy
