as i have said before im useless at electrics so here is the question im almost ready to connect up top half of KT the plug from the Rx18 has the same color cables as the matorro socket so is it ok to just plug in see pic



just want to check with you guys first as i dont want to blow anything

Hi Raven try this link. It's what I did with my Matorro KT when I wired up an RX 14.

yes the wiring is exactly the same on the connector to the upper hull

i have sorted out the turret rotation and elevation also headlight but have problem with MG led it just stays on and MG sound only works sometimes will take a break and get back to it tomorrow might work then

i had loads of trouble wiring up my T34 from rx14 to rx18 it seems the three wires that go to the headlights and mg are reversed

orange= + turret turn
white= - turret turn
green= + turret lift
brown = not used
yellow = - turret lift
blue = + mg led
black not used
red = - mg led

thanks fv432 sorted the MG led and sound just the headlight to do i think my son has worked this out its just mind boggling when you dont know anything about electrics
