Hi everybody,
as my username indicates, I'm over 30 years old, but I still love the hobby of rc tanks and plastic modelling. It proves that you're only as old as you feel and act.
Apart from rc tanks and plastic modelling, I also love music, pets and my guitar, and of cause my beloved wife.
I live and work in Sweden and have a 15 year history with the plastic modelling hobby, mostly on occation, but since a couple of years back more on the regular basis.
Cheers, Jens

Thanks, I feel welcome in ths forum.
As for the title of this introduction thread, I have experience from two HL tanks and the "quality" of those "rc tanks" really disapointed me - the electronics, the plastic, the screws etc. - and they sell those "quality tanks" for 100+ Euros? That's why I decided to save money for a Tamiya King Tiger.
Cheers, Jens

don't give up on the HL tanks I have a Tiger 1 and have modified it by putting metal gearboxes in and have replaced the plastic tracks and wheels with metal road wheels and tracks, I have replaced the RX 14 with an RX 18 and used the darkith battle system and it is now a tamiya compatable IR tank, also fitted is the asaitam recoil whic can be temperamental at times.
