Now with the micro chip and ever evolving technology what could this mean for rc tanking and rc toys in general, what may be the next big step in there evolution.

hehehe i would the chip in the head thing ;D

one day im going to make a two person controlled tank, 2 transmitters for onw tank but one persomn controlls the turret functions and the other the driving functions and machine gun, all i would nee to do it split the transmitter, and then i would put a mini camera in the turret and drivers hatch!

cheers, not exactly the future but it would be more real.

cheers,

Matt

I have already toyed with this.

Get one of those mini spycams and mount it where the tank commander goes. Use a handheld battery powered screen.

You then get a commanders eye view of the tank and surroundings from the turret just like the real thing. If I could get my usual tanking partner to invest the kit, then we could put the tanks on the battlefield, screen off our direct view of them, and have a very realistic tank battle in which neither of us could see anything other than what the tank commander could see. If I was feeling really clever I would put the camera on a pole connected to a servo (I have a 7 channel tx) so that I could rotate the tank, the turret and the commander independently.
