OK Guys,,where do you draw the line of being a perfectionist?

The reason i ask is that i have just done a bit of research and found out that my H/L KV-1s is actually a KV-1e...

And before you ask i havnt resorted to counting track links or rivets YET !!!!

Is this normal behaviour for a tankie or should i play with my other r/c stuff for a few days/weeks..lol

i think what people do to thier tank is up to them, after all it is thiers and if they are happy with it then great , BUT when it comes down to my own tanks i could/would be found quilty as a rivet counter :O :haha: :haha:

OMG you must beat yourself with a stick for making such an error
i think the staff at H/L need the beating, they got it wrong..lol

When i 1st joined this forum i was told 1 tank is not enough but i wasn't warned about 'armouritis'

The only cure is a resin turret kit from Juckenburg or Profiline :D That will then leave you with a surplus turret, which will lead to another chassis, which leads to Armouritis :haha:

Armouritis sneaks upon you when you least expect it, LOL :D :D :haha: :haha:

I know have nine tanks and a halftrack plus an articulated Scania R620 truck and low load trailer to run them about

Tamiya Jagdpanther, Tiger 1, Sherman, Pershing, Leopard 2A6
WSN T34, M16 halftrack
HL Bulldog, Tiger 1, Panzer three with a spare stug top
Tamiya Scania R620, carson low loader, Tamiya flat bed trailer and Tri-axle reefer built as a flat bed
all of the Tamiya tanks have battle systems except the Jagd (needs working on to fit it) and the HL tiger has the darkith battle system

I also have a Kyosho EP Blizzard DF-300 and a Tamiya 1/10th CR -01 rock crawler with a defender 90 body on it
plus a 1/10th bobcat loade

I think if my collection got anywhere near that my Mrs would cut a certain part of my anatomy off and post it to my mum with a letter explaining why...lol

I go for the lines of the parts are as accurate as possible for the scale we work in, but not following specific vehicles. My Tamiya Tiger, is quite detailed, I like the little bits, and my Sherman will be even more so! :D

Cheers,

i go a bit nuts on details the problem is i find most of the inaccurate parts on tanks are beyond my budget/paitence like at the moment im hung up on stug fender supports which strike me as wrong for the production model but i cant fix without replacing the entire fender texture

lets not begin on the massive failure to find a flat kv-1 upper kv series are my favorite tanks and i have all manner of projects all currently up the creek without a paddle

Don't get me wrong,i love my KV to death...to the point where i have sent forgebear a message to see if i can get a 3:1 gear set to go with the metal tracks i want to get for it.....

It just seems strange that H/L called it something it isn't.
