I use these sub minature toggle switches
maplin part No. FH03D (ON)-OFF-(ON) Non-locking both ways, centre off
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=2341" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I wired them up so that the main gun fires when I push the switch and the MG fires when the switch is pulled towards you

Hi Rob,
Not wanting to upset the "Apple Cart". But don't you think that having all the driving controls on one stick actually makes for more accurate driving ?
I've got both systems H/L twin stick and Tamiya single stick and I prefer "Single stick" everytime. You may find that you get to grips with it after a bit of practise.
Having said that I'm probably a bit biased, I always fly model fixed wing and helicopters in a single stick way. When most people seem to fly them "Twin Stick".
I suppose it's a throwback from my PPL training. All fullsize planes are "Single Stick".
Let me know mate.
Nick.

Hi Guys,
Strike my previous post from the record...God only knows what I was thinking of. Everything I said was completely wrong and upside down.
It had been a hot and long day and the three large glasses of Vinsobres had clearly had their effect.
Sorry Gents, I'll try to post something useful in future.
Nick.

Good to know you got it sorted Rob,
I was at some point going to say that Tamiya have a 4 channel connection page on their website.
Is this your first Tamiya ? What do you think of it mate ?
Nick.
