something a little different for the mato sherman?
The Beach Armoured Recovery Vehicle (BARV)

nowt Weird about a BARV, I was thinking of building one out of the mato sherman

so may i,at some stage its just to much of an oddball not to

here is another less seen sherman variant

a few more looks like its in running condtion(or at least was)

Land battleship,but where is the gun? And to show my lack of Sherman Knowledge what is this machine used for? Sax

not sure if it carried any guns it was desiged to literaly shove/pull vehicles out of the sea that had got bogged down,swamped or hit and shove beached landing craft/boats back out to sea, could drive in water up to 9ft deep

used from d-day up until the 60s when it was replaced by a ceturion barv i think it was only used by the uk
