It looks good, but won't kill the Tamiya. The Tamiya is still the best Henschel turret KT out there. Tamiya's are worth the price for the electronics alone.

This will be good for someone after a cheaper Porsche turret KT though, and HL quality has definitely improved.

Cheers,
Rik

Not wanting to re-fuel the greatest debates known to man (or at least us Tankers) if i was in Mr tamiyas shoes i would seriously consider his options on the 1/16 tank front

H/Long have bit the bullet and seem to be going all out on there quality and detail especially when you consider there first offerings to now

Ok you cant beat a dmd and mfu for sound or dependability but we are getting close with the current offerings from elmod all we need now is for someone like Clarke to pull out the big guns and really finish tamiya off :P :haha: :O :D 8|

I very much agree. HL have gotten a lot better since I started building tanks, and i'm sure their quality will continue to improve. I've got nothing against HL, and I will eventually own a few of them for tanks Tamiya don't make.

I agree Tamiya need to improve their range (where's my bloody Cromwell!!! :D), and lower their prices. But for me the building a Tamiya kit from all those hundreds of pieces is why I love this hobby. Their electronics are the most user-friendly and robust at the moment, if pricey.

As was said, I don't want to bring up 'the big debate'. The KT looks good, i'm sure it'll be a great runner.

Cheers,
Rik

I just hope they follow the Panther G and Jagdpanther as far as no molded tools, much better than the Tiger. But I see the cutters laid out on the back of the sample, this one thing makes the H/L tanks seem cheap.Better to have a clean hull than molded tools.Well that my 2-cents Cheers Blake

Stick the top hull and turret on the tamiya lower metal hull or wait and see if Asiatam comes out with one heard a rummer
that HL is doing a metal lower hull for this .
