RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

What exactly is a WASH? I read so many different things about it. Is it applied with brush or airbrush? real thin? Blot up excess? I sure would appreciate a basic step by step on what is involved. Are you trying to establish a shadow effect?? Thanks for any help.

Thanks guy's, the board was created for this very reason.Many different members contributed to the information,enjoy it has been the guide for my paint schemes and techniques.I am working on another technique based on Chalk Pastels and the coloring possible using pastel alone.cheers Blake
