for those with shermans wanting to have the v8 sound, here is another very cheap mf-03, and its even in the uk, no waiting from japan!

Hi can this be wired to a HL board and would it matter which type you have ?

Hi Littletankman The tamiya MF unit can only be connected to a Tamiya DMD,the type of DMD and Mf units are different for different tanks the MF unit for the Pershing can be used with the Sherman DMD or the Pershing DMD(Sherman MF units have no recoil this is why people put Pershing MF units in Shermans).
The german tanks have the same DMDs/MF units in most of them (slightly different in the Jagdpanther no turret sound)Russian units are different again .
The ones out on there own are the DMD/MF units for the Leopard these are a completly different set up.
