For all the tank guru's out there. How did the Shermans idler adjustment system work?
The Mato adjusters are fixed, and I was wondering if the real system could be copied for our scale.
Cheeers,
Rik

Fantastic shots Fleshy, thanks!
It seems to be a very simple system. The question is how to recreate that in 1/16.
How could I make the bolt able to move, but stay stiff enough to stay in place when running?
Cheers,
Rik

Hi Rik,
Those are my photos of the Gate guardian outside the D-Day museum at Portsmouth.
I was going to post them all on here but couldn't bring myself to re-size each one individually.
Being a Sherman fan, I'm loking forward to your Sherman build.
If you want to see all the other pics go to the other forum and search for Sherman detail pics. Or if you can tell me how to globally re-size pics then I'll do that and post them on here.
Let me know,
Nick.

I'm sending them through in blocks. Hotmail had a fit when I sent them all at once.
Let me know if you're getting them.

You should have had 4 blocks starting with 13072009081.
I'm sending the other 4 blocks now.
Let me know if any are missing.
Nick.

Rik,
All done. I'll re-send what you don't get.
With regard to the full-size tensioner. I think the "pinch bolt" idea might keep it from slipping.
Nick.
