Guys
Took my HL Tiger and KV1 into work today to check out control distances without interferrence from surrounding buildings. The KV1 worked out to 50 or 60 ft or so in the car park, the Tiger only 10 ft at best. Having brought them home tonight I found the batteries in the controller for the Tiger to be very warm despite it having been switched off for some 6 hours. The batteries are new blue Energizers. Any ideas?

Guys
I've actually managed to resolve this one myself. Having taken the back of the controller I found that the white cable coming from the battery compartment had become snagged in the aerial housing during assembly. So when I screwed the aerial in it screwed into the wire, breaking the plastic coating and causing a short. Needless to say I've moved the wire and tapped it with insulation tape. It now works wonderfully.
Wow at this rate I might even become a proper RC tanker

If the batterries are warm you have a short somewhere in your controller take them out before they are ruined have a look at the wiring making sure there are not wires bare or touching parts that they should'nt.
