				Hi
Just purchased 2 new Heng Long tanks over the last couple of weeks, a Tiger and a KV1from different suppliers. Totally new to RC as a hobby but have been into WWII wargaming for 20 years so I know my tanks. As I say I'm new to RC, my problem is when using the tanks on my patio control range is only about 10 ft is this because of the close vicinity to the house and hence RC interference?
Cheers
Martin

Hi Martin, welcome to the forum, im sure your knowledge of WWII will be a great contribution to the forum

as for the range, i would say yes interference from the building is probably the course, a standard Heng Long tank will normally go 40-50 feet easy, so take it out in the open and see what happens then.

Not really though I have done some of that. Being a child of the Airfix age I use models and miniatures in various scales. For WWII 20mm or 1/76, 1/72 is very popular in the UK, so I have shed loads of that, but I also have a Russian Tank corps in 1/300, a Japanese infantry battalian in 1/100, and Germans, Russians and French in 1/56 scale. Not to mention all the other periods that I wargame from the Wars of the Roses to Afghanistan today. I've had to convert my garage to hold all my gear along with an 8ft x 4ft gaming table. Like RC tanks the hobby combines my love of modelling, military history and gets me out meeting people (though I haven't met any other RC tankers as yet). I'm a member of a club that meets every Wednesday here in Gloucester. There are clubs all over the country.
