Tamiya Panther G wheels on HL Pantiger ?

Hi help please , do you think its possible to mount Tamiya Panther G road wheels onto the old Pantiger as Im having issues with my modded stock HL ones although I might over come this . I have the Tamiya Panther G road wheels but not the rubber rims or front caps ?
