but i have a small problem .. the enlargement need to be 450% ......but the bigest the copyier will do is 400% ... so if i do that
how the heck do i work out the extra 50% ....

if i put the enlarged drawings in that have been incheased to 400% and do another 50% .. will that mean i have enlarged to 600%

help ??????

Do it by 200%, then by 225% - end result is 450%.

Ok then before i go off and do something else!

There is a way, you need a bigger photocopier! when i did the battletank i had to take the plans above 500%! Luckily next to me I have a large photo copy center .Look in the local google for photo copy center or drawing office or digital printers. My guys can produce plans that are AO in size , thats five times that of A3. The thing is huge! Dont bother with a kall kwik or the like , you need industrial size copiers. If you cant get anything local you could try ringing Dorking litho digital section ( in Dorking Surrey) post them the plans and i can go and collect and pay for them and its sorted?

happy to help 8)

Oh and Iain i just got your pm, i did send the tracks, weeks ago but standard mail. Im guessing by your PM Royal mail have done us proud again?

Hi there yer I took my plans to a photocopying centre (in Peterborough) and they enlarged them for me to 1:16 although the lines were a tad thicker but still workable .
