Cutting irregular shapes in plasticard sorted

I have been making the bins that fit on each side of the Centurion turret with disasterous results. Then I remembered that I had a little plastic tool in my shed that had not seen the light of day for several years.... a set of plastic shaping combes. This tool is a terific item that I would recomend to any modeler...providing that you can remember that you own it..unlike me :/

Below is a set of fotos showing the tool in steps.....simples

Also I have covered the back of a 12 inch steel rule with a piece of innertube rubber...this stops the ruler sliding on the plasticard and ruining the nice straight edge that you want....gosh I'm good

The tool was bought in a little tool shop in Romford Essex for about £5, so I expect it could be found in any good tool shop near you....if not I expect that I could get a few....

I hope this is of use to at least one of you ....

There are more fotos of the turret in the build section today
