its been a while since i did any real work on this build .... but here's some pics of the t44/85 in undercoat

i cannot beleve i started this in october !
one thing that bugging me a bit is the ride height ... it seems too low to me ... and i have ot quite figured out how to change it
but if any one help

and also need help with extra track links too about 10 would be of great help

Just checked out the build thread, thats alot of work you have been doing, i especially like the texture you got on the turret, she looks like a beast, what colour are you going for

hi there keith .. its going to be done in just plain old russian ( humbrol 117 ) ... with a bit of weathering ... as i dont think the t44 ever got any form of camo paint .... but i am aware some ended up in the hands of the NVA in vietnam and its poss some were camo painted there but no conclusive pics seem to exisit ... just a small not in simon dunstons book vietnam tracks ( a superb book )

I wondered if this build thread was ever finished. Outstanding work Iain. Suspension height looks OK to me. Can't wait to see it in your choice of the paint scheme. Any idea what markings (if any) were used on these things?

from what i can see most look like thay just has a 4 diget number on the turret , not very exciting ...

Amazing build,you have captured it perfectly I think.
I've always liked the look of the T44,much sleeker than the T34.
Looking forward to seeing it finished.
