1/16 Sherman

Hi guys 2nd post and 1st question
Anyone know where I can get the 1/16th 75mm Gun barrel and Mantlet to fit the Tamiya Sherman turret, Ive searched t'interweb to no avail though Im sure I found one last week.

Jason's store has a 75mm and mantlet? The stock Tam parts are for a 105mm, I wasn't aware that Jason stocks aftermarket upgrades?

Right now I'm only aware of Imperial Modelbau (Europe), and Nick Aguilar (USA - firenick on RCU) and Ethan Dunsford (USA - edoubleaz on RCU) having 75mm upgrade parts either available or in the works...?

Couldnt find it at Jasons, Imperial have it but the postage doubles the price ! Tankzone have it at 16.99 so if I cant knock one up I will go for TZ, thanks for the help guys

Hi Nick. I got the Imperial Modelbau Sherman gun & mantlet for my Sherman conversion 2 years ago and it was pretty cr@p. The gun and mantlet were both out of scale and wrongly proportioned. I ended up binning it and building one from scratch. The photograph on the Tankzone site looks like the Imperial Modelbau one I had so I would be wary of shelling out £16.99 for that.

hi i made my own mantlet out of plasticard i have mede 4 so far 3 for my shermans and one for fleshpedlers firefly
