HELP electronics

hi i have stripped out my matorro KT electronics and put in new h/l gearboxes rx18 board i looked at a rx18 diagram to make sure i plugged it in right, i dont have the upper hull connected yet but should the motors and start up sound work without the upper hull connected

not a problem chris the answer is yes you can even run it without the upper connected with no worries :thumbup:

forgot to mention im still useing matorro on/off switch

OK, first things first.
check to make sure that the battery is definitely charged and good.
Check to see that the battery feed is connected correctly into the rx 18 board. Also make sure the volume knob is connected correctly and is turned up. There will not be any sound without that knob connected.

Having put in the RX18, are you also using a Heng Long Transmitter? - I don't think Matorro transmitters are compatible although physically the same.

hi have checked all plugged in the KT has no sound control knob, i took out on/off switch lead connected it to one of the motors and it worked then plugged it back in still nothing

hi there you are right the transmitter needs the heng long main board in side it to be compatible

its working now after i put in sound control knob im useless at these electronics and thanks for all your help guys will get back to you if i have any more problems
