First off sorry about the loss of posts, this is a repost of a topic the I deleted by mistake, the date in brackets is the date of the original post on the Detroit tank comand forum, that was copied from this site
(26/12/2009) all I have done to the truck is assemble the chassis and fit the front suspension and steering, also assembled the wheels, I am waiting for parts to arrive which maybe next week or the first one or two weeks in the new year the parts are the two servos for the steering and gear change, a complete set of bearings for the transmission and gear box, also I am waiting for the MF unit to give the truck full lighting and sound effects.
when I started to read the instructions I thought OMG what have I let myself in for, building this kit, there are more parts in this kit than in the leopard.

gearbox under construction, I took my time with the gearbox it is rather dificult to assemble the shafts and selector arm onto the housing because you have to line up every thing at once

Got the Novack 55 this afternoon and have fitted it to the Scania in place of the stock motor and the truck has slowed down considerably in first gear

some pictures of my Scania and Carson low loader trailer with a Jagdpanther load outside, the Jagdpanther looks a bit small on the trailer, this is because it is 1/16th and the wagon is 1/14th scale

I have decided to move the battery into the cab to give a bit more clearance under the truck
