Really like what you have done with the Jagdpanther,to bad about the build thread though.I would have liked to see how you altered the mantlet, and cut out the hatch. The detail are very good, track hangers and screens,Good Work.Cheers Blake

Thanks for the coments guys to cut out the engine hatch I first tried thread but it kept breaking so I used a 1mm drill bit and drilled holes all the way round the hatch i then used a stanly knife to cut through the holes then it was a case of carefully popping it out I then made new hinges with plasticard and used old track pins I couldnt get in to drill the holes on the deck so heated up a track pin and pushed it through the hinge but I would recomend making up both sides of the hinge as this is what I would do if I done this again. The gap round the hatch was a bit big so i cut a piece of plasticard and put it round two sides with a bit of plasticard on the inside to stop the door from falling in. For the mantlet I cut a piece off the top about 8 to 9 mm then took the ir out and used miliput to reshape the top again I put the ir in the drivers hatch hope this helps guys if you need more info just send me a pm.

Thanks for the heads up Stevie, the hatch is the very step I am at with my Jagdpanther. The track pin method worked for you,not real clear on what you mean by"making up both sides of the hinge". Cheers Blake
