My first Tamiya!!!

Post by Yellowshaker »

I found a guy selling 2 Tamiya FO tanks and he came to my shop today to show me. He had a KT and M26 Pershing. I bought the Pershing and may purchase the KT in the next few weeks. I am amazed at this thing. Only thing is the turret rotation is not working correctly.

if you have problems with the turret rotation try Septons gear swop mod in the rotation units drive chain You just swap the gears around and it should be fine

Hi There is a quick cheap mod for the turret rotation its a tie wrap around the gearbox it stops the gearbox bending open ,also you can glue wedges in the clutch to tighten up the clutch or change it ,will find the post ,and put it here, might be later today.Dont worry its not a big problem.

I know...I want the KT. It's a beautifully done tank too. It's done in a 3 color camo pattern and very clean and etailed...
I tried to post a few pics, but they are too large...

Theirs a post by Matt describing how to re-size your pics to fit the forum.I would like to see the Kt.I've wanted one but I have to wait as all my Tanks are modeled after Grossdeutschland Division Units. And so far in a year I have two 1/16 scale tanks and one 1/6 scale That I have regretted buying, but that story is already been told in the large scale section.Check out the post on photo re-sizing and post the KT if you purchase it.Hope it does not have a ghost,Blake
