My first full Tammy ;)
Full option Sherman, with Nick Aguilar's T23 turret kit and hull upgrade parts needed to covert the Sherman to A3 standard.
I've also added a Pershing MFU for the correct Ford V8 sounds and to drive a recoil mechanism.
The Parts so far...

I intend to add some of ETO's running gear upgrades as well, as I want to fit Impact T66 tracks in due course.

So, Progress this week:
Got the suspension mounts on (thread lock on the screws and superglue on everything else - they ain't coming off ever again ;) )

Fantastic Mart! Welcome to the Tamiya Owners Club! lol ;) I see you've gone whole hog on the upgrades then? Let me know how you get on with mounting the recoil as i'm looking at doing a Sherman later in the year.

Cheers,
Rik

Not that long actually. I pounced on the turret and the other upgrade parts when Pcomm1 offered them for sale last autumn, and the Pershing parts I found in Jason's store on Ebay almost as soon as I started looking for them. I have another load of parts for upgrading the running gear enroute from ETO (cheer's Bob!)

Latest Progress:
I have the return roller mounts on, and the HVSS spring parts assembled, now just waiting for April so that I can start painting (a rattle can is just too messy to use indoors :problem: )
Next week I will get into modifying the rear hull and mounting the exhaust deflector.
