first i drilled out top of cupola as im not useing bbs then i took off turret back door cut off hinges then drilled holes in side of door & hinge i used paper clips for door & handles also filled in door with plastic sheet

thanks ed i have stripped out the gearbox and electrics dremeled out screw studs put in plastic base now im not sure of the right position of gearboxs need a bit of help here

I was going to upgrade my KT like you, but I decided to go with tamiya hull and suspension as there were more mods (motors, wheels, etc..)available. I will use HL electronics and Matorro upper hull....

i think your right to go the tamiya way but i will stick with it as i dont have funds to spend on it at the moment as i have 3 other tanks to do

i have taken out plastic sheet and put in aluminium (thanks to tankman) much stronger then screwed in gearboxes i hope this works this is my first time doing this sort off work

so far installed metal gearboxes rx-18, receiver and new speaker all working ok just have top hull to sort out
