Hello All,

Thanks to Rye Ihave some figures to show you how to make your own TC move. This time we will do an American TC.

I recommend you get one of these artists figures. It will show you howto pose your figure and give you the chance to expirement with different arm movements.

Next do some surgery. Unlike the TIGER TC, this guy is styrene. The helmet pops off easily, as do the arms. The body requires a bit of care but should come apart in two sections. The head is attached to the front ofthe body in a small caviety. With a little pressure this too pops off.

With a moto-tool and files remove the alignment pins on the interior of both sides of the figure. Be sure the inside is nice and smooth.

Using an old damaged plastic Heng Long Tiger Suspension arm, cut off the tube part the would be used to fit in the hull. If you have no old arms you can use plastic tube, brass tube.

Now on the neck of the American drill and file a hole until the small tubecut from the arm fits tightly into the neck. Check from all angles that it sits flush with the back of the collar and is even all around. Then from the underside CA it in place.

Now file and sand the underside ofthe neck flat. He has a strap that hangs down on the right side, leave that alone. Also while you are here, undercut the detail of the chin and neck to make him look a bit more real.

Okay, take a 6mm airsoft BB and cut it in two drill a hole in the center. Test fit the BB into the neck with the. round part down. You will have to slightly countersink the neck hole you installed until the top ofthe BB is just about flush.

Next drill a hole in the bottom of the head. Install your neck wire, makesure the fit is tight but do not glue anything yet! Now slide the wire into the BB and through the body. Make sure your head can turn smoothly. The strap on the right side of the head will not allow much movement to the right but it a detail that is just too good to remove, so this guy will be a left looker.

Okay that should get you guys going. Next we'll do some arm stuff. Enjoy!

Don
