Hi All


I've been working away on my "winter Tiki" and a thought struck me.

We all know Michael Wittman destroyed over 130 tanks, but what is the highest kill/score for a single Tiger?

If I remember correctly I read somewhere that for every Tiger 1 produced 7 enemy tanks were destroyed?

If that was the case there must of been quite a few tigers with kills in double figures

So does anyone know of anywhere this type of information would be kept?

Knispel maybe? hehehehehe

what about Allied tank aces there must have been some

allied tankers did things differently' kills were claimed by the whole crew and not by just one individual, one of the guys named knispel did he drive, load, sight the gun, and man the radio/mg all by himself ? if he did then not only is he a true ace but also a brilliant soldier.

try googling Russian tank aces they also credited the whole crew with a share in the kill and in fact held the tiger II in no higher respect than any other piece of German Armour which is to say it was a waste of resources and ability on the battlefield.

Hi Just a point here Wittman scored alot of his kills with a Stug III not a Tiger.
