Your right Andy, very little because it is not politically correct to be patriotic in this present environment. But many do remember, and also in the UK.Dec. 7th was also the day of infamy for the British as their pacific colonies were attacked as well,PRINCE of WALES and Repulse were sent to Singapore as a deterrent, but became magnets being sunk on the 10th.The first time in history that a battleship fully alert was sunk while underway.Causing great loss of British sailors lives.Today should be a reminder and a rally point for the conduct of the present war.Fight to win,but instead we have liberal appeasement, and our young men and women are in harm's way.All we can do is remember and teach the younger generation what lesson's we have learned from events like Pearl Harbor and the sinking of Repulse and Prince OF wales.

Hi Saxondog , You so right we realy need to learn are lessons and avoid such lose of lifes . I dont think these events should be forgoten , hence the small display I did of US Army and USMC gear last year . It did get a lot of intrest . It made a change from the normal Normandy suff although this shouldnt be forgoten either . I havent seen anything on the news other here regarding the Pacific war .
