No quite sleighbells but it turned out to be good enough.... it was my mobile phone ringing......
Dave (Forgebear) knew that I had been looking for a Tammy Sherman for a while and kindly kept me in mind when one literaly landed on his doorstep

. My luck continued when Paul (Septon) and his brother kindly checked it over and tested it for me.....what a bunch of top blokes.
So I have my Sherman......
Share my glee

Cheers guys
The tank has been brush painted and I need to remove the paint and do it properly....first I need to fone the seller and find out what paint he used.
I will take fotos tomorrow evening for you to look at. I am surprised at the ease of removing the top....just flex the sides outwards about 1/8 inch and the top pops off...HL take note eh!
The inside is spaghetti city....Tamiya must have the same kit in every tank cos there is enuff wiring to do my house.
Is there anything specific you want to see inside???
Mike

You lucky boy Mike! Welcome to the Tamiya Owner's Club! lol
They do all have a ridiculous amount of wiring in them! I'm in the process of shortening, and tucking away a lot of it in my Tiger so the turret can rotate properly.
What do you plan on doing to your Sherman? Any ideas for mods? Or do you just want to paint her up and run her?
I can't wait to see your build thread!
Cheers,
Rik

Hi guys
I keep looking at it and thinking....there sits a full set of tyres for my MX5

....a holiday for one in Greece

.... an unbelievable weekend in Amsterdam with a lapdancer

....then I think.....I can do that lot later, where's the charger

.
My main problem is that I have run out of hiding places. I am new at this lark and I already have 5 tanks and a lorry, gawd knows where I will put any more that turn up....addictive aint it.
