Hi Guys, does anyone have pictures of real 20-ton jacks, primarily the ones used on the Tiger. I need details to get mine looking perfect. Were the turning handles wood or metal?
Cheers,
Rik

Thank you oz! Fantastic photos! In the second one with the fixed handle, do you know if the handle was metal or wood? It could be either there. Thank you again, one more thing I can try to make more accurate.
Cheers,
Rik

Do you know if they're all wartime jacks? I'm interested if the black and silver plates on the top of the first two have been added later. The marking numbers are handy though. I can add those to mine.
Thanks again oz!

I love the fact that this forum has such a goldmine of information on it! I've learnt more about WWII from this forum than anywhere else! lol
Cheers,
Rik

the tiger 1 used three types of jack and the pics are the real wartime items, the guy who found these also had a tiger 1 stowage bin which he kept chicken feed in, the bin was still in its original colors with the remains of the number still visible on it.

Thank you again oz, they were excellent, and a great help.

The Aber parts are quite accurate it seems. It shouldn't take much altering to get it fairly accurate, and some decals and tiny brass letters to add some of the labelling for a bit more accuracy.
Cheers,
Rik
