Started my Jagdpanther, done the usual welds including the front hull ones (stuck cellotape onto the hull sides, once dry the milliput came away clean and stayed stuck to the main body so I can still remove it) also moved r/c arial to the tanks radio arial position by cutting off the plastic stub and drilling the small block out to accept a slightly modified Heng Long r/c arial stub having first soldered the original wire onto it, needed the slot in the rear enlarging to accept the wire but it is still hidden. Now need some track hangers and grilles . .oh and metal tracks . . and side armour... and ...and ...and ....more money !! .Hope you like it.

Real nice job on the weld seams, What colour scheme are you going to paint it.

Not too sure yet, probably one of these . . (ps, I hate milliput !! )

Two very nice JPs there mate. I like both camo schemes. Milliput is difficult to use to begin with, but I think the more you use it, the easier to work it becomes.

Moved the tow shackle spacer to the inside edge of the hull and knocked up a pair of spare track carriers.

Excellent Jagdpanther so far! That first camo picture you showed is the same camo I want either my Tiger or KT in. I can't wait to see more.

Looking good,the weld seems must of been trying to make.On the front hull where the tow u=hooks mount the spacer on your Jagdpanther is on the right side,we were discussing this in another thread and did not know if you were aware of this over-site by H/L.My Jagdpanther's tracks were hitting the u-hooks until this part was ground off and a new spacer was added to the other side of the hull. What did you make your spacer from? Sax

Yes I read the post about tracks hitting the shackle, I used a razor blade and carefully cut the spacer off and re-glued it on the correct side, also hunting round for material to make spare track holders I found that the stainless steel strips found in the back of car windscreen wiper rubbers are the correct width and easy to bend ! Waste not, want not ! Welds ? . . . . I am going blind and have Milliput in places it shouldnt be !

The spacer took a steady hand to cut off,the tip about the wiper blade is interesting I will give that one a try.Cheers Blake
