Hi

Yes
used a hobby grinder, file and knife.

cut out the hatches out of the other top, ground out, drilled holes in the hinges all nice and neat.

cut out the space for the grills on the tank, ground off the hinges, drilled holes and cut down some track pins and slipped them in.

the track pins have the rough bit on one end so they stay in

Them Dremels are great for drilling and grinding

Hi Rocketman

It took about four hours

But with out the Dremel I think it would have taken a hell of a lot longer

I'm made up with the result, it looks good

but need ideas on how to hide the wires and gears.

NOW you tell us that you used two upper hulls!
I'd started trying to cut under one of the hinges of mine and was wondering how the h£ll you'd done it!!

...but I'm still too tight to go out and buy another upper hull.

So I'll leave it as is!
