Hi Common with all models of Heng Long the speaker isnt very good the sound does improve a little if you put a better speaker in .

Hello Pete,
Well I thought that, and my other tanks are at least 50% louder, could it be the volume switch wiering?

Try a 1 ohm speaker, they are often in old CD Radio's and things, and fit a 22kb potentiometer from Maplins (less than a £1) to replace the tacky Heng Long volume control. You will get better sound that way.

I've had mine for three weeks and have the same problem, next to my Tiger at half volume I can't hear the Jagdpanther. I'm betting on the volume control.Sax

Maybe the exhaust has a hole in on your Tiger ? Simple answers are always the best . . . . . .

Sorry I was being sarcastic (I know, its the lowest form of wit . . ) Meant like in real life, when an exhaust gets a hole in it makes more noise !

Same here with mind slowing and old age creaping up ! My Jagd and Tiger about the same, Jagd speaker not under the grille though so may account for any slight difference.
