hi guys,

during college today we had to do some simple programming for an upcoming assignment, so, i thought i may as well make a program thats of some use and wont just get lost within the depths of my folders during the next 2 years.

so this is what i came up with, a very simple program that is a live feed of the latest news, when you open is it gives you the news. Now the news isnt always going to be the same, so the news is linked to a file on the website, so when i update the file, it updates the program. obviously this is instant whenever you load

take a look and let me know what you think - bear in mind this only took around and hour probable less.

hi matt i think its a good idea you could post news thats important to us dates and up and comeing events

Hi Matt,
Looks like a good idea to me! I have added it to my desk top as a short cut....but it is just an ugly plain box.......is it possible to put a small picture in the short cut, like you get for games or web cams etc......and if so please can you tell me how to do it ??
BUT....please think of me as a complete idiot on computers and word the explanation.... S_L_O_W_L_Y.....so that I can push the right keys in the right order
