Hi Guys,

I've nearly finished the Stug I bought in parts from Forgebear and so I attach a few fotos for your criticism.

The paint job needs the decals and a coating of matt protector, plus I have to fit the jack, spare track sections behind the turret, the machine gun and shield on top and then I am stuck for where to go from there.

Do we have a Stug squad that I should belond to, if so what decals do I use?

Ideas please.....I think it's finished cos I like simple.....but have I missed anything?????

Cheers

Mike

Many thanks for the positive comments lads.

A year ago I joined the forum, bought my first tank, a PZ3, and it is still as it came out of the box. Successive purchases have been altered as I have learned from builds and fotos posted here.

I now have four tanks in the front bedroom, soon to be joined by this Stug...and the Panther from Forgebear this friday.

My shed is a tank workshop, my loft is full of redundant parts from upgrades, I feel I have joined the R.E.M.E. and I keep HL and Tamiya in proffit. As a new member of PayPal I have started to subsidise private enterprise in the USA (Messers Darkith and Creeping Death), and I am visiting Modelzone fequently to stare at the Tamiya Sherman

All is lost......I need a beer....and a bigger shed

Mike

Great looking Stug Mike! The weathering looks really authentic, and simple. :D One thing i've always wondered about Stugs, did the barrel have any left/right deflection?
I know how you feel with the tanks Mike, not too long ago I started with an HL Tiger, and ended up with two very expensive Tamiya's! lol :P
Cheers,
Rik

Found a quote saying they had a "limited traverse of a of 25°" Looking at the kit I'd assume thats the full amount of movement left - right that the barrel can move.
