Ok, got me stumped this one. Armor on the front top of the chassis. Q? First layer that lays against the hull, Im presuming its cut around the MG bulge completely to the left as you look at the tank from the front yes? 2nd question then cos that what ive done(?) ( but it aint stuck down yet ) When I lay the final layer of armour down I cant get round being able to see layer 1 through the hole cut for the MG BUT on the B&W pics of the real tank it looks for all the world like theres a tube like thing welded to the inside of layer 2 extending back to the MG bulge.

help please, going slight doo lally here :geek: Whats everyone else doing

dammit... looks like my build pictures were lost when my PC died :(

ook ill try and explain...

the bottom upper hull peice when the hull mg comes through is just a large square hole, the top upper hill peice is the same, but has the extra bit glued on top so what you cut out underneath doesnt really matter

however at the sides (cos the buldge is very near the edge) i didnt cut through, their is a very thin peice of plasticard still their,

cheers,

Matt

p.s. just took 2 more of mine:

Nice conversion, I have also seen a pic somewhere with some spaced cheek
armour on the turret and with the extra plates on the front as you have done.

Way better than a standard Pershing!

Pucker thanks chaps. Im pretty sure my layer 1 top is too shallow but its on now so what the hell. Im also pretty sure following a logical progression that layer 1 top is cut out fully to allow the mg bulge through hence the extra bit added top left of layer 2 to make up the loss from layer 1. :geek:

Reading that back its complete jibberish unless your building one of these things! :D :geek:

Anyway cheers lads that was a lot of help and I really aprreciate the effort
