I use these glasses wipes to clean oily finger prints off the build plate to improve adhesions. They are alcohol based and dry almost immediately.
They are available in Home Bargains stores.

Great tip and it makes a huge difference as I've discovered. I use paper towels with methyl hydrate (denatured alcohol, methylated spirits, gas line de-icer, and a million other names) on it.
