Has anyone tried installing ATAK ZM1603 (Zimmerit set for Tamiya) on a Heng Long Tiger I?

ATAK supplies the mantlet Zimmerit as a separate part—does this mantlet fit the Heng Long Tiger I, or would modification be required?

You will definitely have to modify the HL part because the Tamiya mantlet is made of several parts and the HL is just one part.

Does ATAK only provide the H1 parts shown in the reference image you attached?

Yes. The rest is from Tamiya kit.

I disassembled the mantlet area of my Heng Long Tiger I to check the structure, and after examining it, it looks like the ATAK mantlet should be fairly easy to install with only minor modification.
Once the ATAK set arrives, I’ll post an update with my results.
