Originally, I planned to convert a Tamiya Tiger I to a late-production version, but due to the extremely demanding amount of work involved, I decided to go with a mid-production configuration instead. Recently, after further research and consideration, I believe converting a Heng Long Tiger I to a late-production version would be much easier.
Therefore, I am planning to purchase Taigen late-production sprockets and road wheel sets from rctank.de, and use Mato metal tracks. Are Taigen sprockets compatible with Mato metal tracks?”

The drive gears may be compatible, but be aware that you may encounter problems with the idler wheels, so those may need to be changed out too.

“Thank you for the information! I’m also planning to replace the road wheels with Mato road wheels for Heng Long.”
