Hi, I'm completely new to this, have a HL coming for Christmas, I know it's been delivered but mrs won't let on. I'm a lifelong modeller, mostly 1/35 before so as well as enjoying the features of the tank I'll be repainting and weathering along with any functional improvements.
Happy Christmas to all.

Happy Holidays to you and your family---especially a dear one who would buy you an RC Tank! Many of us know about "mostly 1/35 before," and some with eyesight left still model in that scale. But being a " 'murrican" I was hooked on 1/16 decades ago, even before I starting losing hearing, sight, and brains.

Welcome from Argyll and Bute. My wife has just said no to me buying a 1/6 Armourtec Challenger.
The book is open that she has bought you a Tiger 1?

Welcome to the Forum from NJ, USA.
I hope it's not a Pantiger.
Recently had a less than favorable experience with my wife buying me a tank.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada

!
Former 1/72 builder here so 1/16 is ginormous! You will enjoy your new tank and the acres of plastic to improve. Any idea what kind it will be?
Mike.
