Just in case others are interested in a quick introduction to this Whippet:

Might be possible, let me get it all drawn so I can see what I will need to change.

This is taking longer to draw than i thought , so many bloody rivets.
Wow, you are fast! What software are you using to model it?

Fusion.
Taught myself about 4 years ago watching YouTube videos. The first thing I designed was a rectangular battery box for a rc car. Just start with something simple.
The sky is the limit with a 3D printer if you can design your own parts.
Best thing, Fusion is free for hobby use.

You are pretty good with Fusion. I'm using SolidWorks for makers, it is $48 for a one-year subscription or even cheaper on special.
I looked at Fusion, but it didn't have in the free version some options to work with STL files/meshes.
SolidWorks is ok for modifying things, but the normal workflow is to create details first, then put them into an assembly, and this is a bit annoying. Just for example, the toolbox for FT17, I would prefer to break it into a few parts, like main chest, top cover, and hinges for printability, but it was easier to model it as one piece.
I can't recall. Is Fusion using the same workflow?

I have Solidworks as well but i preferer Fusion. With Fusion you can draw without having to make assemblies . I find it much easier.
