Im really happy to have found this group. Im excited to network with everyone and share my tanks, diorama and post war Lionel trains. I’m retired airport fire chief 45 years of service. I do have a question. Im seeking an experienced tanker in USA that can help me with electronics repairs. What is the best forum to continue on? Looking forward to future postings.

Im good detail person, painter but very poor with the electronics of these tanks. I also repair and restore post war Lionel trains. They are old school electronics and I can handle that.

Respectfully and good day all.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦!
I'm not an electronics guru either, but I know just enough to make things smoke.
There's an electronics subforum on here that can help you out, and if you don't see what you need, please ask questions. This is a very patient group and I don't think I've ever seen a "use the search function" snooty reply.
That said, be prepared to hear about Tiger 1's, jellied eels, haggis, marmite, cricket, and tea parties...and beavertails.

And pics of your tanks if you'd care to post them. We are curious.

Mike.

Wow! Welcome: fire away with the questions on electronics. The overall electronics forum is viewforum.php?f=31, and I think Mato metal tanks come with Clark boards (at least my M10 does), so the sub-forum would be for Clark, viewforum.php?f=59

Post war Lionel is great fun! I am CEO and CFO (and chief debtor) on the 800 sq. ft. Golden Prairie Railroad, running engines of Rock Island, Milwaukee Road, Soo. demonstrators, Wisconsin and Southern and a few odds in a contemporary mix of MTH, Lionel, and Atlas O engines with rolling stock of all kinds.
