German Army uniform colour?

I just bought a couple of German Army figures from www.forgebeartanks.com,
They are a driver and a crewman for a Hanomag 251 Halftrack.
I have the 251 and I painted it in Desert Sand so now I need to know what colour the uniform of a half track crew in North Africa would be,
I have done some research and it appears to be mainly a washed out green but if anyone has better knowledge that would be useful.
A guide to which paint maker has the correct colour would help.
The figures needed very little trimming which impressed me,
Dave has come up trumps yet again

Jarndice!
I found this and hope it is useful:
"The M40 Tropical tunics of the Afrikakorps, later authorized for summer field wear in Southern Europe, were basically the same cut as the standard army uniform but with open collar and lapels, and made of a medium-weight olive-drab cotton twill which in service faded to khaki."
In the Past, I have used Olive Grun from Tamiya for Uniforms. If I did the Uniform in Khaki, I used Tamiya Desert Sand.

Painless

Check ot out and you will find something you will like!

Thank you Rob,
I shall have a look in my paint box before making a
final decision.
My paint box is a big cardboard box full of tins and bottles of a multitude of different colours plus lots of Pens with permanent inks of different colours and 3 pentel Ink Pens with 3 different nibs which are good for stencils.
