Just got my Grad 21 back from MichaelC after he has installed the Clark board and all the mods to make this thing quite a vehicle. It is set up to take 1 hit and can be taken out by MG fire and has a 3 second reload time for firing. However it's main job will be to roam the field controlled by the referee in battles where we have our 3 minute artillery rule to stop people just sitting in one location and sniping in effect. So in those battles it will be running without it's apple in place so it can hit but not take hits and will be able to fire to get people/teams to move rather than staying in one place. Mike also installed servos to control the elevation and rotation of the rocket firing tube cluster. Also a speaker was installed. Radio is a FlySky FS-i6. This vehicle is a lot of fun :D

Changed location of battery to allow board and rx to be placed in the engine compartment

That’s well smart.
Just needs a load of printed rockets in the tubes

Nice mod. I am considering something similar, but I was going to put my emitter in one of the tubes.

The emitter in one of the tubes was my original intention but if the tubes are sitting horizontal to the ground you are going to be firing into the back of the cab unless you rotate the tubes. In firing position you would be just firing the IR beam into the sky. But the top of the cab turned out to be the best position as the wires just come from the board through the cab firewall. This truck is an absolute hoot to drive around with 8)

I wanted the IR LED mounted in the tubes so that the trucker would have to have some skill moving that set of tubes around kinda like the way a tank has to aim it's turret. :) To me it evens the field a bit because the truck has some decent speed. The IR beam would probably fire through the rear window and then through the front windshield... :)

Assume by the size of a Clark board I could do a similar thing with an H/L V7'.1 then ?
