Centurion
Well. It’s time to introduce this.
My 3rd Ludwig build.
This will eventually be a tank but as it stands I’m not 100% happy with the turret casting quality so if anyone has a tongede turret left over from a barv build let me know.
I tried haya. No good. Has large ring. I need a turret with the small ring

Re: Centurion
I was thinking the mk2 because according to some reading it was being trained on between the end of the war in Europe and the end of the war, though I’m not sure that’s 100% accurate as others say Jan 46. But with that said it looks just like the mk3 but with a 17pdr and if they started training on them even in 46 at least one production version must have been built at the end of the war. Making it in my mind a Second World War tank

Re: Centurion
I will do a mkiii but since I have the haya turret I bought to replace this resin cast one for it not to fit the mkiii will be the haya one. Then possibly a later version with the 105 from a tongde

Re: Centurion
The 17pdr is a nice fit. The turret how ever will need a lot of sanding and mr putty to get it looking ok. But then it was never going to be a short project

Construction of the first Centurion prototype began in 1943.Exhibitedbrute wrote: ↑Sun Nov 02, 2025 10:21 am I was thinking the mk2 because according to some reading it was being trained on between the end of the war in Europe and the end of the war, though I’m not sure that’s 100% accurate as others say Jan 46. 6 prototypes were sent to Belguim in 1945 just weeks after the end of the war in Europe.
I think I am about to upset someone
