An unmolested V2 missing the TX. No dirt or dust to speak of. The interior is spotless. Only damage was likely during shipping.

Swapped in a V3 board and new sound card and to my pleasant surprise she runs and functions well and purrs like a kitten.

My very first RC tank, which I bought back in 2018 is exactly the same as the one you bought!
But it still runs the old RX18 board.
Quite a heavy Beast!

I saw it over on Forgebear FB page. I’m lucky. You use Imgur which means it isn’t visible in my region A lot of Tiger pictures have disappeared. I thought you were going to get a Leopard 2?

Just out of curiousity Mr. B, but where do you guys Down Under order your tanks?
Is there a supplier in Australia for HL, Taigen or whatever brand you want to buy?
Or do you have to buy over here in Europe/Germany or even the UK?
If so, I understand it is quite an expensive hobby for you guys.
Shipping cost mostly kills any deal, right?
When I buy tankparts in Germany, shipping is pretty expensive, at least for me.
Depending on which suplier you buy from, shipping between €11-20
When I bought my Taigen tanks at rctank.de, Dominik mostly gave me free shipping!
Asiatam wants €20 for even a small shipment.
But this probably is cheap for you guys, compared what you might have to pay….

Rob59: from my experience here in the US I estimate at least $50 for shipping from Germany. But I have not ordered from the UK or Europe since the change in US government administration.

We can only purchase thru the likes of Ali or Ebay, there are some rc hobby shops that have tanks out of the box but they dont sell parts and no one here is a Taigen supplier.
Toucan have deals on occasion but the post kills any saving.
Anything Taigen has to come from overseas, like Foregebear etc, so the exchange rate differential and international postal rates are devastating..........
Its life, we understand things need to come from Germany, England etc etc.........and it is a noticeable investment.

In uk buying a tank from Ali is cost + £53 postage and arrives 10 ish days
if free postage it can take a month
bits n bobs are a bit cheaper from ali but factor in postage and it works out better to use Forgebear tanks for parts plus they arrive 2-3 days
damm pity theres no 1 in Oz does tanks/bits/spares

In Oz, highperformancehobbies.com.au are quite affordable. My LHS, Dapto Model Sports, will also order in anything at reasonable prices too, and being a walk-in, I don’t have to pay postage.

OzArmour sells the bits and pieces. I’d like to support OzArmour with RTR tanks,but he doesn’t seem to stock them - probably doesn’t make sense for Mark to compete with the other guys.

Shipping from the UK can be not too painful as Forgebear and Haya can drop the VAT and it subsidises the postage. I bought my Centurion kit direct from Andrew that way.

Since you mention meter and I can’t see the photos I’m assuming it’s a tiger. Does no one do pz iv anymore
