Welcome Kevin from midlands. There used to be a Bristol based club, if it still exists. but I’m not sure if there’s anything in Devon, best place to look for clubs is Facebook as most of them post meet dates etc on there now days

There’s a group on Facebook called Cornwall Radio Controlled Tank Group which is pretty active and worth checking out. I’m a member even though I’ve not lived in Cornwall for decades.

Then, too, since you are in the East Devon area, you have at least two great sellers: Forgebear and Haya. I have bought from both even though I am across the ocean.
