Im looking at getting an airbrush and saw this one on ebay. Can anyone tell me if its a good one?

When I started airbrush painting with the help of OZ and STEINER the airbrush system I purchased was a Paasche double action set #86632,then I purchased an airbrush compressor from HARBOR FRIEGHT TOOLS which is a online tool supplier.The Paasche air brush is very popular and replacement parts if needed are easy to find.That's the only thing about the set your looking at is where would you purchase replacement parts if needed? GM, Sax is right, my comp ( Spray master ) is Knackered with only little use, 6 months. Make sure you can get parts or they can repair. Most importantly, make sure you have a warranty/guarantee. Sent my comp back 7 weeks ago and Im having a right job getting it replaced even under its guarantee and I got mine off the bay.

I bought a similar looking comp from harbour freight over a year ago and used it for 2 or 3 hours every weekend until I ended up overseas this summer. The brush that came with it was fantastic value for a dual action and I'm very happy with it.

If possible check for any feedback on the unit you are interested in (google is your friend), I bought mine based on a recomendation on RCU. The other tools I bought at the same time varied from 'ok for the money' (12v minidrill) to 'utter crap' (soldering gun that burned out after 10 mins )

I'm sure that guys like Oz could get better results from more expensive equipment, but the question here is can you afford and/or do you need better? Nobody can help you with that here. All I can do is point you towards my builds and my member space threads and tell you thats what I managed to do with it, with no previous experience of using an airbrush.

i know its a bit more than you wanted to spend but you will definitely have more value for your money plus replacement parts are cheap and guaranteed, the compressor doesn't pulse and the airbrush can spray down to 2MM, i have even painted SS camo with this brush.
