Turret servo constantly spins

Hi all,
The Turret servo/ motor spins constantly as soon as I plug in to board???
I tried 2 options using a 360deg servo & using a small 12v geared motor, both doing the same.
I'm not brilliant when it comes to these issues.
Any help much appreciated.

Being that it is a turret servo you do want the 360 servo but obviously not constasnt spinning. Sounds like its getting constant input? I'm not an electrical expert either hopefully someone with loads more experienc can chime in. I can only guess and share what I've learned from the past frew months working with servos.

It is an Open Panzer TCB

Hi Gmhgq, there's not a lot of information to go on here, but I'd agree with MrChef, it would sound as if the TCB is getting a constant input to turn. If that is the case the best solution would be to run through the Radio Setup routine so that the TCB can be told exactly what the center point of your turret stick is. If that information is not accurate, it will think it is getting a signal to turn the servo.

So what I've found is Op Config is not reading the radio correctly,
showing no movement of turret , Not reading swicthes at all, Can not change sticks to the correct number, this is happening with 2 different radio's, Can the TCB be reset ??, not sure if that is the problem.
Sorry I'm not the brightest with electronics
let me know what is a way to solve the issue.
After some testing, the radio setting work fine plugging straight into the receiver( no TCB)All the sticks in the correct position.
Not sure which way to go Now????
cheers

If OP Config is not reading the radio, that means the TCB is not reading it, and that means that you are using the wrong kind of receiver or you are not connecting to it in the correct way.
What receiver are you using? Is it able to output either PPM, or SBus, or iBus? Are you attaching your cable to the correct port on the receiver that outputs one of these signals?
Note also there are two receiver slots on the TCB. The top one is for PPM or iBus, and the bottom one is for SBus, you need to plug the receiver into the correct one.
See this page in the Wiki for a photo.

Everything is attached in the correct position, as in WIKI, Receiver is correct, checked, checked & checked again.

You have yet to tell us even what receiver you are using. We need information in order to troubleshoot, simply saying that it doesn't work is not enough.

Hi,
This may appear to be a stupid question BUT...you do have the correctly selected COM port for this particular TCB don't you, and dipswitch 5 is in the ON position so IT CAN CONNECT ??
Just a thought.

Com port is correct & dip5 .
When connected to PC I get solid Red light & a slow flashing green light, this means it’s connected correct???
