I've recently got my panther ausf G from henglong, it's great, it's so cool and I love it! the only problems I've had are with the Styrofoam it was packed with falling into the glycerin hole (which is irrelevant to the current topic)
And with the tracks, I brought it to a friends and she adjusted them for me, however they frequently catch/stutter when going at slower speeds, and I realised that the henglong panther G is missing the tiny return roller positioned behind the sprocket wheel, preventing the tracks from smoothly moving and causing them to catch, it also has the byproduct of any adjustment being either too tight or too loose
I've looked every where for one, the only information I've found pertaining to it involves a forum in which someone mentions that the taigen (Or tamiya) panther Gs have the return roller, nothing beyond that
I'm either gonna end up making or buying one, I'd prefer to buy it but if that's not an option Ilm make it myself with what I can get. Im a Sucher for little details and now everytime I look at my panther G I notice the missing roller.
Any information on where I can obtaining one, put it in or make it would be very much appreciated.

Taigen Panther G front transmission covers

If they fit on the heng long is another question, someone might be able to answer that for you.

From the Website: "They fit the Taigen Panther G metal base, but could be made to fit Heng Long" Sounds like a little modeling will be called for but in the end, they will do the job. Back when I was detailing my Panther G and adding these wheels, I just drilled and added wheels that I got from a Website, either RCTanks.de or Welsh Dragon *Spotty old Wolf memory* Next time around, I am just going to get the Taigen metal Lower and paint it to match the Upper. The return roller was to prevent the track from getting wedged by the sprocket when reversing on the real tank. Replaced by a simple skid later in the war to save rubber and assembly time. It really won't do anything on your Panther.

If you are having issues with your tracks kinking and jumping teeth, look for any links that aren't pivoting on the track pins freely. And see if your track tension has any effect as you suggest.

Nothing wrong with going for the detail, but it won't solve your track issues.
